This bowl is facetted by cutting away the clay after it has dried for a day or so. It's a very meditative process and I think it comes through in this peaceful, simple pot.

The green grey glaze catches the cut edges of the facetting and turns green, grey or brown, seemingly at random. It is a smooth, tactile glaze which is a pleasure to touch.

It is a weighty, solid bowl which will hold the heat of a hot tomato soup or steaming porridge in the morning.

I happily put this bowl in the dishwasher, microwave and oven but I leave it up to you as to whether you want to.

Each of my pots are stamped on the bottom with my name.

The electricity company I use to power my electric kiln offsets the usage with 100% renewable energy.
