Sunday 5th October, Kids' Lantern Making Play With Clay @ Urban Clay, Aylsham

£22.00

Bring your kids along to squish some clay with me in this fun, handbuilding workshop at Urban Clay in Aylsham. We’re going to be rolling, pinching, coiling and squashing clay and seeing what we come up with as I guide them through making a lantern candle holder. If they want to go off piste and try something else, that’s totally fine!

When: Sunday 5th October, 10am - 11.30am
Where: Urban Clay, 35 Red Lion Street, Aylsham
What: Let your child get their hands on clay and see what wonderful creation they come up with. We will be working on pinch pots, decorative hole cutting and modelling some fun shapes to add to the rim to make a lantern that they can keep. They can also paint it.

We have eight spaces, all to be accompanied by an adult, for kids from seven years old upwards. Whether they have played with clay before or not, all are welcome. Come and see the magic qualities of clay to entrance and absorb your young creative. If the adult would like to join in and make their own lantern, they are welcome to book a space for themselves.

The lanterns will be fired and glazed by me and they will be ready to collect from Urban Clay in about six weeks time (so long as they survive the firing!).
