Made for a commission, I first saw these butter dishes when I babysat for a french woman in my teenage years. They work by filling the jar with a little water and storing the butter upside down in the lid. This keeps the temperature consistent throughout the year.

Their bright, lively rainbow splatter pattern is the perfect thing to bring a smile to your face in the morning. With drops of blue, orange, yellow, green, purple, pink and black that I splash onto the surface, the dishes are all unique. They are all thrown on my pottery wheel.

They are all stamped on the bottom with my name. They are about 11.5cm tall with a lid diameter of about 9cm. These measurements can vary with each dish.

My kiln and my potter's wheel are powered by renewable energy and I try to keep my packaging recycled or recyclable.
